Delivery terms and conditions
Delivery is made in collaboration with our distribution partner Dansk e-Logistik. All products are dispatched from the warehouse of Dansk e-Logistik as parcel post or by courier. The shipping method depends on product size and the chosen destination. Upon shipment from stock, you will receive a track and trace link by email that will allow you to follow the shipment of your product.
The procedure regarding distribution may differ from one distributor to another. If your package has been attempted delivered – and you are not at home – the distributor will usually contact you (via email, SMS, phone call, etc.) with information about which package shop your items may be picked up from or to make a new delivery agreement. It is also possible that the freight company may contact you prior to delivery in order to make an appointment about date and time of the delivery.
The basic shipping costs only cover delivery to the curb. If you are not home at the estimated time of delivery, it can also be a good idea to contact the distributor to make a more specific agreement on the place of delivery (for example, in your garage or with a neighbor). Note that such an agreement will always be at your own risk.
The products are insured during delivery, and on receipt, please check the package contents. If the package and / or contents are damaged upon receipt, you must report this to the distributor immediately. Bagpipers Hub is not responsible for products damaged during transport.
As soon as the buyer has received the product, it is considered delivered. The buyer takes over the risk of the product upon delivery.
Please contact email@example.com, if you have any questions regarding delivery.
Orders received on weekdays before 12 o’clock noon (Danish time) are dispatched from the warehouse on the same day. For orders made after 12 o’clock noon (Danish time) – or on weekends or Danish public holidays – the product is shipped from the warehouse on the following working day.
Depending on the destination, delivery usually takes place within the following number of working days. These delivery times are indicative and may vary.
- In Denmark – 1 day (day to day)
- Outside Denmark – 2-8 days
Right of Cancellation
For how long can I cancel my purchase?
As a consumer, you have a 14 day right of cancellation, when you shop in our web shop.
The cancellation period expires 14 days after the day, you received the product or from the day, you got the last product in physical possession if it is an order for several products ordered in one order and delivered individually. If the products consist of several lots or parts, the cancellation period expires 14 days after the date you get the last lot or the last part in physical possession.
You must, within 14 days of receipt, inform us that you wish to cancel your purchase by sending us an email at firstname.lastname@example.org. In your message, you must make us aware in a clear manner that you wish to exercise your right of cancellation. In the event of a cancellation of your purchase, we ask you to download, print and fill out our return form and send it back with the products.
You can download the return form here: Return form
You cannot cancel your order just by refusing to receive the product without at the same time giving us clear notice of this.
Return by cancellation of purchase
You must send the product back to us without undue delay – and within 14 days after you have notified us that you wish to cancel your purchase. You must defray the direct costs of the product’s return shipment to our warehouse.
Missing original packaging may be an impairment, so to be sure to get all the money back, it is recommended that the product is returned in the original packaging.
Certain goods cannot, due to their nature, be returned by normal mail. This applies to large items like sofas, dining tables, chairs, etc.
If you cancel your purchase, the product must be sent to:
4690 Haslev (Dalby)
The completed return form and a copy of the documentation of the purchase of the product must be enclosed in the package. Documentation of the purchase can be a copy of the order confirmation.
Please note that return is made at the buyer’s sole responsibility – it is the buyer who carries the risk of the products from the time of delivery until the return has arrived at our warehouse. Therefore, always be sure to get a tracking number on your return shipment or parcel.
Please contact email@example.com before returning.
Goods excluded from the right of cancellation
The following product types are excluded from the right of cancellation:
- Delivery of products made to the consumer’s specifications or clearly personalized.
In the event that Bagpipers Hub sells products that are custom made or customized individually according to the buyer’s requirements, the right of cancellation will only apply until the manufacturing or customization of the product has commenced.
The condition of the product when you return it
You will only be liable for any value deterioration of the product if the handling of it differs from that which is required to determine the nature, characteristics and function of the product. In other words, you can test the product in the same way as if you tested it in a physical store, but you should not put it to real use.
If the product is tested further than what is described above, we consider it used, which means that, in the case of cancellation of the purchase, only some or none of the purchase amount will be returned, depending on the commercial value of the product.
Repayment of the purchase amount
If you cancel your purchase, you will of course be refunded the paid amount. In the event of an impairment that you are liable for, it will be deducted from the purchase price.
If you use your right of cancellation, we will refund all of your expenses – including, if applicable, delivery costs associated with the purchase (however excluding extra costs due to your choice of delivery other than the cheapest standard delivery that we offer) without undue delay, and in any case within 14 days from the date, we received your notice of your decision to cancel the agreement. We make such reimbursement with the same payment method that you used for the original transaction, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise.
We may withhold reimbursement until we have received the product or you have provided us documentation that the product has been returned.
If you wish to use your right of cancellation, you must pay for the return shipment, unless otherwise agreed.
We do not accept packages that are not delivered directly to us or packages sent per. cash on delivery.
For how long can I make a complaint about my purchase?
The deficiency provisions of the Danish Sale of Goods Act can apply to purchases of goods.
When you shop at www.bagpipe.com, you have a 24-month warranty as a consumer. This means that you can either get the product repaired, exchanged or refunded, or get a price reduction – depending on the specific situation. It is of course a requirement that the complaint is justified and that the defect has not arisen due to incorrect use of the product or other damaging behavior.
How quickly do I have to submit a complaint about my purchase?
You must submit your claim within “reasonable time” after finding the defect in the product. If you do so within 2 months after the defect is found, the complaint will always be within the time limit.
If your complaint is justified, we will of course refund your (reasonable) shipping costs. The product must always be returned in protective packaging, and be sure to get a receipt for the shipment to use for the refund.
In a case of complaint, the item must be sent to:
4690 Haslev (Dalby)
When submitting complaints, we ask that you download, print and fill out our return form. On it please describe the problem in as much detail as possible.
